CHRIS LOMPA
SELPA Director
As the SELPA Director, Ms. Lompa works collaboratively with the Local Educational Agencies (LEA’s) and public agencies to develop a network of cooperative agreements. The SELPA Director coordinates this network and provides a focal point for the districts, students and/or family seeking information regarding special education programs and services within the Special Education Local Plan Area. Ms. Lompa responds to concerns of local, state and public concerns emphasizing the need for effective special education services to improve educational and life outcomes for students with disabilities.

JENNIFER HENIG
PROGRAM SPECIALIST
As the SELPA Program Specialist, Ms. Jennifer Henig is responsible for providing support to Districts via professional development and IEP compliance support. Ms. Henig works with parents and Districts through the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to address county-wide questions regarding Special Education programming, as well as bringing parent education seminars to our community. She is also responsible for all facets of the program including planning, implementation, and monitoring of services, budget and staff.

BRENDA SERNA
SELPA MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES THERAPIST
As the SELPA Mental Health Services Therapist, Ms. Brenda Serna provides Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) and supplemental counseling to students residing in participating districts and the San Benito County small rural schools. She is responsible for all facets of services including planning, implementation, and monitoring of services. Brenda also provides School-Based Mental Health consultation and support to school personnel and parents.

KEVIN LOMMEN
SELPA MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SPECIALIST
As the SELPA MIS Specialist, Mr. Kevin Lommen, coordinates the Management Information System (MIS). He provides technical assistance to districts and assists with staff development to conduct targeted SELPA wide trainings.

ENRIQUE ZENDEJAS
SELPA Administrative Assistant II
As the SELPA Administrative Assistant, Mr. Enrique Zendejas assists the SELPA Director and her team in performing a wide variety of secretarial and clerical duties. He receives callers and provides public information where knowledge of policies, procedures and laws are necessary. He is responsible in preparing records directly and indirectly related to student and staff information, including mandated reports, staff schedules, meeting calendars and creates budget summary reports.
